If you love music and history, there's an exciting volunteer opportunity waiting for you at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum.

"There are so many different 'places' within the Museum that a volunteer can serve-that's what makes it so interesting. There are surveys to do, library work, helping in the galleries, school tours, ushering-and I love the fact that I don't have to be there 'every Thursday.' You can volunteer on an as-needed basis, which fits with my hectic lifestyle so much better."  -Marge, Volunteer since 2002

Testimonials

"I love to do the 'Front Greet' job. It is a great chance to meet people from all over the world-and give them a big dose of southern hospitality. Working behind the scenes in the library and archives has given me an opportunity to better appreciate the preservation of history. I had no idea that museum work entailed so much more than the just attending to the artifacts on display."  -Sallylou, Volunteer since 2008

"I sure love the Museum. For me it's the local history that is so personal to Nashville ... and it is history that's happening even now. It's fresh and fun and new for each school tour group I take around."  -Joe, Volunteer since 2004
